New year, new us

Hey gang,

Daniel here. I wanted to let you know about a significant change coming to this Kickstarter account.

From its humble beginnings, ZWEIHÄNDER has grown beyond a game that I wrote into one supported by many people. Team ZWEIHÄNDER extends from friends who join me every Wednesday to playtest to our freelance artists, editors, UX designers, and producers across the world.

To more appropriately reflect this team aspect, Kickstarter will work with me to change the name of the account from Daniel Fox to Zweihander RPG. Here’s what it impacts:

1. Our vanity URL has changed to https://www.kickstarter.com/profile/zweihander 
2. Our new name on Kickstarter will be Zweihander RPG

We will be working diligently over the next 24 hours to change all old links across Zweihander-related social channels to reflect the new vanity URL.

Thank you for your support of our little grim & perilous game. We’re so proud to have you along with us for this wild ride. 2022 is going to will be incredible, and we cannot wait to show you more in the coming months.

Hello friends,

We hope your digital copies of Flames of Freedom have arrived safely and you are well into your first campaigns!

As of this month, the book is also officially available in retail, so if you have been tempted to get a copy of this hardcover beauty, be sure to pick one up wherever books are sold, or from your favorite game store. (We think it makes a great gift too.)

Meanwhile, for any questions, or simply to chat about Flames of Freedom, find us in Discord! Many of our developers are active there, and we are more than happy to provide whatever information you may be looking for.

Thank you again for being the very first wave of Flames of Freedom supporters! Without you, truly, this project would not have become what it is.

August Update

Hello friends,

Have we got news to share! The Flames of Freedom books made it to our fulfillment center last week.

At the same time, most of the other items (maps, coins, dice…) were lovingly packed up and delivered to the same center by our team. The last item we are still waiting for is the game master screens, which are scheduled to arrive within a few short days.

Our first wave of ~300 books actually went out on Friday, so if you backed at the “Book + PDF” level, be sure to keep an eye on your mail! We have already heard from the few first backers whose books have arrived.

The final wave of shipments will be going out as soon as the screens make it to us – hopefully this week. We will keep you updated!

Our team is proud to announce the Kickstarter for Ryan Verniere’s BLACKBIRDS RPG, launching on September 15! We are beyond excited for you all to discover this all-new, horrific dark fantasy world Powered By Zweihander.
